Well so far this has been the best week all summer, I can't believe our children's school starts in less than 4 weeks, I better get busy if I want to have all the fun I can this summer with the kiddos.  Here are some things I have enjoyed this past week:

Saturday night my husband treated me to a date (which hardly ever happens) we didn't have any kids, the two youngest stayed with Grandma, the two oldest had dates of their own, so it was just me and hubby, we bowled 3 games then went out to eat and had a great time together just the two of us it was great.

Tuesday we went to an amusement park all day all 6 of us it started out cooler and rainy but by the time we got there it was clearing up, the rain stopped, there wasn't much of a crowd so getting on the rides was easy, we had ice cream, then on the way home he treated us to dinner out again, I don't think we have gone out to eat twice in one week before (it costs too much for 6 people) another great time.

My oldest got her Senior Picture proofs back, and oh my gosh they are beautiful, I can't believe she will be a senior when school starts, now the hard part comes of picking out which ones we can afford (we want all of them but whew they are expensive)

Our garden has almost come to it's peak so we have lots of fresh veggies, so I have enjoyed trying new recipes this week.

And last but definitely not least we purchased a Rainbow home cleaning system, they have a great reputation, other relatives of ours have had theirs for 15-20 years, so it should be worth the money, it not only vacuums carpets, but sweeps floors, dusts, and freshens your home air, like nothing I've ever used, I also ordered a load of cleaning supplies this week so watch out house when it comes in, I will be a cleaning fool.

Well there are many more favorites from this week, so choosing was hard.  Thanks Susanne!  Have a blessed weekend everyone.

Your post reminded me of our family of 6! You're at the beginning of the flight from the nest, though, and I'm at the end. My youngest just finished his senior year in HS and your oldest is just beginning it. It's a trip, and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Have a great weekend and enjoy those kids! (But hang onto those date nights!)

Glad you had such a good week! Date night is always fun, and getting to eat out twice in one week is even better!

I always want to buy all the photos whenever we have pictures taken. My kids are photogenic so they cost me a fortune at the photographers... we don't go much! Thank the Lord for digial cameras, they take their own most of the time.

Sounds like a fun week!

A date night should always make the FFF list! :) and bowling is always a good time!

Busy, lovely week it sounds like. :)
My garden still has a bit of growing to do, but I don't think much. I still have very little produce from it - still growing flowers and whatnot.

Praying you have a very blessed weekend!

How nice to have a date night with you husband! Those are always special times.

Senior pictures are great. You'll love them even more when you look back.

An unexpected date. Yipee! I love those.

I totally know what you mean about having to choose between pictures. At our school they do senior pics with the graduation pics so it can get really, really expensive. So hard.

Hey Michelle! Thanks for dropping by this morning. :) I used to think crafting was expensive, but I have found lots of ways to do it frugally. I use tons of coupons to craft stores. My sewing machine actually is an old version that came from a garage sale for $15. Hang in there- you will find ways. (And I'm six months behind on my scrapbooking so I totally feel you on that!)
